3:120 إِن تَمْسَسْكُمْ حَسَنَةٌ تَسُؤْهُمْ وَإِن تُصِبْكُمْ سَيِّئَةٌ يَفْرَحُواْ
بِهَا وَإِن تَصْبِرُواْ وَتَتَّقُواْ لاَ يَضُرُّكُمْ كَيْدُهُمْ شَيْئاً
إِنَّ اللّهَ بِمَا يَعْمَلُونَ مُحِيطٌ
If aught that is good befalls you, it grieves them; but if some misfortune overtakes you, they rejoice at it. But if ye are constant and do right, not the least harm will their cunning do to you; for Allah Compasseth round about all that they do.
3:121 وَإِذْ غَدَوْتَ مِنْ أَهْلِكَ
تُبَوِّئُ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ مَقَاعِدَ لِلْقِتَالِ وَاللّهُ سَمِيعٌ عَلِيمٌ
Remember that morning Thou didst leave Thy household (early) to post the faithful at their stations for battle: And Allah heareth and knoweth all things:
4:76 الَّذِينَ آمَنُواْ يُقَاتِلُونَ فِي سَبِيلِ اللّهِ وَالَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ
يُقَاتِلُونَ فِي سَبِيلِ الطَّاغُوتِ فَقَاتِلُواْ أَوْلِيَاء الشَّيْطَانِ إِنَّ كَيْدَ
الشَّيْطَانِ كَانَ ضَعِيفاً
Those who believe fight in the cause of Allah, and those who reject Faith Fight in the cause of Evil: So fight ye against the friends of Satan: feeble indeed is the cunning of Satan.
8:18 ذَلِكُمْ وَأَنَّ اللّهَ مُوهِنُ كَيْدِ
الْكَافِرِينَ
That, and also because Allah is He Who makes feeble the plans and stratagem of the Unbelievers.
11:55 مِن دُونِهِ فَكِيدُونِي
جَمِيعاً ثُمَّ لاَ تُنظِرُونِ
"Other gods as partners! so scheme (your worst) against me, all of you, and give me no respite.
12:5 قَالَ يَا بُنَيَّ لاَ تَقْصُصْ رُؤْيَاكَ عَلَى إِخْوَتِكَ فَيَكِيدُواْ لَكَ كَيْداً
إِنَّ الشَّيْطَانَ لِلإِنسَانِ عَدُوٌّ مُّبِينٌ
Said (the father): "My (dear) little son! relate not thy vision to thy brothers, lest they concoct a plot against thee: for Satan is to man an avowed enemy!
12:70 فَلَمَّا جَهَّزَهُم بِجَهَازِهِمْ جَعَلَ السِّقَايَةَ فِي رَحْلِ أَخِيهِ ثُمَّ
أَذَّنَ مُؤَذِّنٌ أَيَّتُهَا الْعِيرُ إِنَّكُمْ لَسَارِقُونَ
At length when he had furnished them forth with provisions (suitable) for them, he put the drinking cup into his brother's saddle-bag. Then shouted out a crier: "O ye (in) the caravan! behold! ye are thieves, without doubt!"
12:71 قَالُواْ وَأَقْبَلُواْ
عَلَيْهِم مَّاذَا تَفْقِدُونَ
They said, turning towards them: "What is it that ye miss?"
12:72 قَالُواْ نَفْقِدُ صُوَاعَ الْمَلِكِ
وَلِمَن جَاء بِهِ حِمْلُ بَعِيرٍ وَأَنَاْ بِهِ زَعِيمٌ
They said: "We miss the great beaker of the king; for him who produces it, is (the reward of) a camel load; I will be bound by it."
12:73 قَالُواْ تَاللّهِ
لَقَدْ عَلِمْتُم مَّا جِئْنَا لِنُفْسِدَ فِي الأَرْضِ وَمَا كُنَّا سَارِقِينَ
(The brothers) said: "By Allah! well ye know that we came not to make mischief in the land, and we are no thieves!"
12:74 قَالُواْ فَمَا جَزَآؤُهُ إِن كُنتُمْ كَاذِبِينَ
(The Egyptians) said: "What then shall be the penalty of this, if ye are (proved) to have lied?"
12:75 قَالُواْ جَزَآؤُهُ
مَن وُجِدَ فِي رَحْلِهِ فَهُوَ جَزَاؤُهُ كَذَلِكَ نَجْزِي الظَّالِمِينَ
They said: "The penalty should be that he in whose saddle-bag it is found, should be held (as bondman) to atone for the (crime). Thus it is we punish the wrong-doers!"
12:76 فَبَدَأَ بِأَوْعِيَتِهِمْ قَبْلَ وِعَاء أَخِيهِ ثُمَّ اسْتَخْرَجَهَا مِن
وِعَاء أَخِيهِ كَذَلِكَ كِدْنَا لِيُوسُفَ مَا كَانَ لِيَأْخُذَ أَخَاهُ
فِي دِينِ الْمَلِكِ إِلاَّ أَن يَشَاءَ اللّهُ نَرْفَعُ دَرَجَاتٍ مِّن نَّشَاء
وَفَوْقَ كُلِّ ذِي عِلْمٍ عَلِيمٌ
So he began (the search) with their baggage, before (he came to) the baggage of his brother: at length he brought it out of his brother's baggage. Thus did We plan for Joseph. He could not take his brother by the law of the king except that Allah willed it (so). We raise to degrees (of wisdom) whom We please: but over all endued with knowledge is one, the All-Knowing.
12:102 ذَلِكَ مِنْ أَنبَاء الْغَيْبِ
نُوحِيهِ إِلَيْكَ وَمَا كُنتَ لَدَيْهِمْ إِذْ أَجْمَعُواْ أَمْرَهُمْ وَهُمْ يَمْكُرُونَ
Such is one of the stories of what happened unseen, which We reveal by inspiration unto thee; nor wast thou (present) with them then when they concerted their plans together in the process of weaving their plots.
20:60 فَتَوَلَّى فِرْعَوْنُ فَجَمَعَ كَيْدَهُ ثُمَّ أَتَى
So Pharaoh withdrew: He concerted his plan, and then came (back).
20:63 قَالُوا إِنْ هَذَانِ لَسَاحِرَانِ يُرِيدَانِ أَن يُخْرِجَاكُم
مِّنْ أَرْضِكُم بِسِحْرِهِمَا وَيَذْهَبَا بِطَرِيقَتِكُمُ الْمُثْلَى
They said: "These two are certainly (expert) magicians: their object is to drive you out from your land with their magic, and to do away with your most cherished institutions.
20:64 فَأَجْمِعُوا
كَيْدَكُمْ ثُمَّ ائْتُوا صَفّاً وَقَدْ أَفْلَحَ الْيَوْمَ مَنِ اسْتَعْلَى
"Therefore concert your plan, and then assemble in (serried) ranks: He wins (all along) today who gains the upper hand."
21:57 وَتَاللَّهِ لَأَكِيدَنَّ أَصْنَامَكُم بَعْدَ أَن تُوَلُّوا مُدْبِرِينَ
"And by Allah, I have a plan for your idols - after ye go away and turn your backs"..
21:62 قَالُوا أَأَنتَ فَعَلْتَ
هَذَا بِآلِهَتِنَا يَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ
They said, "Art thou the one that did this with our gods, O Abraham?"
21:63 قَالَ بَلْ فَعَلَهُ كَبِيرُهُمْ
هَذَا فَاسْأَلُوهُمْ إِن كَانُوا يَنطِقُونَ
He said: "Nay, this was done by - this is their biggest one! ask them, if they can speak intelligently!"
21:64 فَرَجَعُوا إِلَى
أَنفُسِهِمْ فَقَالُوا إِنَّكُمْ أَنتُمُ الظَّالِمُونَ
So they turned to themselves and said, "Surely ye are the ones in the wrong!"
21:65 ثُمَّ نُكِسُوا عَلَى
رُؤُوسِهِمْ لَقَدْ عَلِمْتَ مَا هَؤُلَاء يَنطِقُونَ
Then were they confounded with shame: (they said), "Thou knowest full well that these (idols) do not speak!"
21:66 قَالَ
أَفَتَعْبُدُونَ مِن دُونِ اللَّهِ مَا لَا يَنفَعُكُمْ شَيْئاً وَلَا
يَضُرُّكُمْ
(Abraham) said, "Do ye then worship, besides Allah, things that can neither be of any good to you nor do you harm?
21:67 أُفٍّ لَّكُمْ وَلِمَا تَعْبُدُونَ مِن دُونِ اللَّهِ أَفَلَا
تَعْقِلُونَ
"Fie upon you, and upon the things that ye worship besides Allah! Have ye no sense?"..
34:33 وَقَالَ الَّذِينَ
اسْتُضْعِفُوا لِلَّذِينَ اسْتَكْبَرُوا بَلْ مَكْرُ اللَّيْلِ وَالنَّهَارِ إِذْ
تَأْمُرُونَنَا أَن نَّكْفُرَ بِاللَّهِ وَنَجْعَلَ لَهُ أَندَاداً وَأَسَرُّوا النَّدَامَةَ
لَمَّا رَأَوُا الْعَذَابَ وَجَعَلْنَا الْأَغْلَالَ فِي أَعْنَاقِ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا
هَلْ يُجْزَوْنَ إِلَّا مَا كَانُوا يَعْمَلُونَ
Those who had been despised will say to the arrogant ones: "Nay! it was a plot (of yours) by day and by night: Behold! Ye (constantly) ordered us to be ungrateful to Allah and to attribute equals to Him!" They will declare (their) repentance when they see the Penalty: We shall put yokes on the necks of the Unbelievers: It would only be a requital for their (ill) Deeds.
40:36 وَقَالَ فِرْعَوْنُ
يَا هَامَانُ ابْنِ لِي صَرْحاً لَّعَلِّي أَبْلُغُ الْأَسْبَابَ
Pharaoh said: "O Haman! Build me a lofty palace, that I may attain the ways and means-
40:37 أَسْبَابَ
السَّمَاوَاتِ فَأَطَّلِعَ إِلَى إِلَهِ مُوسَى وَإِنِّي لَأَظُنُّهُ كَاذِباً
وَكَذَلِكَ زُيِّنَ لِفِرْعَوْنَ سُوءُ عَمَلِهِ وَصُدَّ عَنِ السَّبِيلِ
وَمَا كَيْدُ فِرْعَوْنَ إِلَّا فِي تَبَابٍ
"The ways and means of (reaching) the heavens, and that I may mount up to the god of Moses: But as far as I am concerned, I think (Moses) is a liar!" Thus was made alluring, in Pharaoh's eyes, the evil of his deeds, and he was hindered from the Path; and the plot of Pharaoh led to nothing but perdition (for him).
68:25 وَغَدَوْا عَلَى حَرْدٍ قَادِرِينَ
And they opened the morning, strong in an (unjust) resolve.
105:1 أَلَمْ تَرَ كَيْفَ فَعَلَ رَبُّكَ بِأَصْحَابِ الْفِيلِ
Seest thou not how thy Lord dealt with the Companions of the Elephant?
105:2 أَلَمْ يَجْعَلْ كَيْدَهُمْ
فِي تَضْلِيلٍ
Did He not make their treacherous plan go astray?
