أُفٍّ لَّكُمْ وَلِمَا تَعْبُدُونَ مِن دُونِ اللَّهِ أَفَلَا تَعْقِلُونَ

Tafsir Ibn Kathir
أُفٍّ لَّكُمْ وَلِمَا تَعْبُدُونَ مِن دُونِ اللَّهِ أَفَلَا تَعْقِلُونَ ﴿٦٧﴾
Fie upon you, and upon that which you worship besides Allah! Have you then no sense!
`Do you not realize the extent of the misguidance and extreme disbelief which you are following, which no one could accept but one who is an ignorant and evil wrongdoer.' He defeated them in argument and left them with no way out.
Allah said:
وَتِلْكَ حُجَّتُنَآ ءَاتَيْنَـهَآ إِبْرَهِيمَ عَلَى قَوْمِهِ
And that was Our proof which We gave Ibrahim against his people. (6:83)
تفسير ابن كثير
أي أفلا تتدبرون ما أنتم فيه من الضلال والكفر الغليظ الذي لا يروج إلا على جاهل ظالم فاجر فأقام عليهم الحجة وألزمهم بها ولهذا قال تعالى" وتلك حجتنا آتيناها إبراهيم على قومه " الآية .
تفسير الجلالين
"أف" بكسر الفاء وفتحها بمعنى مصدر أي نتنا وقبحا "لكم ولما تعبدون من دون الله" أي غيره "أفلا تعقلون" أن هذه الأصنام لا تستحق العبادة ولا تصلح لها وإنما يستحقها الله تعالى
تفسير القرطبي
" قال " قاطعا لما به يهذون , ومفحما لهم فيما يتقولون " أفتعبدون من دون الله ما لا ينفعكم شيئا ولا يضركم . أف لكم " أي النتن لكم " ولما تعبدون من دون الله أفلا تعقلون " .
