Tafsir Ibn Kathir
Allah said,
إِنَّمَا تُوعَدُونَ لَوَاقِعٌ ﴿٧﴾
Surely, what you are promised will occur.
This is the subject of these oaths.
This means, what you all have been promised concerning the establishment of the Hour (Judgement Day), the blowing of the horn, the resurrection of the bodies, the gathering of those of old and those of latter times on one common ground and the rewarding of every doer of a deed based upon his deed. If he did good, then his reward will be good, and if he did evil, then his reward will be evil. All of this will occur, meaning it will come to pass and there is no avoiding it.
تفسير ابن كثير
هذا هو المقسم عليه بهذه الأقسام أي ما وعدتم به من قيام الساعة والنفخ في الصور وبعث الأجساد وجمع الأولين والآخرين في صعيد واحد ومجازاة كل عامل بعمله إن خيرا فخير وإن شرا فشر إن هذا كله لواقع أي لكائن لا محالة .
تفسير الجلالين
"إنما توعدون" أي يا كفار مكة من البعث والعذاب "لواقع" كائن لا محالة
تفسير القرطبي
هذا جواب ما تقدم من القسم ; أي ما توعدون من أمر القيامة لواقع بكم ونازل عليكم .
إعراب — grammatical analysis
«إن» حرف مشبه بالفعل و«ما» اسمه و«تُوعَدُونَ» مضارع مبني للمجهول والواو نائب فاعل والجملة صلة ما «لَواقِعٌ» اللام المزحلقة «واقع» خبر إن والجملة الاسمية جواب قسم لا محل لها.
