وَقِيلَ لَهُمْ أَيْنَ مَا كُنتُمْ تَعْبُدُونَ
Waqeela lahum ayna ma kuntum taAAbudoona

"And it shall be said to them: 'Where are the (gods) ye worshipped-

Tafsir Ibn Kathir
وَقِيلَ لَهُمْ أَيْنَ مَا كُنتُمْ تَعْبُدُونَ ﴿٩٢﴾
مِن دُونِ اللَّهِ هَلْ يَنصُرُونَكُمْ أَوْ يَنتَصِرُونَ ﴿٩٣﴾
Where are those that you used to worship instead of Allah! Can they help you or help themselves!
meaning, `the gods and idols whom you used to worship instead of Allah cannot help you today, and they cannot even protect themselves. You and they are fuel for Hell today, which you will surely enter.'
تفسير ابن كثير
" أين ما كنتم تعبدون من دون الله هل ينصرونكم أو ينتصرون" أي ليست الآلهة التي عبدتموها من دون الله من تلك الأصنام والأنداد تغني عنكم اليوم شيئا ولا تدفع عن أنفسها فإنكم وإياها اليوم حصب جهنم أنتم لها واردون .
