وَيَطُوفُ عَلَيْهِمْ وِلْدَانٌ مُّخَلَّدُونَ إِذَا رَأَيْتَهُمْ حَسِبْتَهُمْ لُؤْلُؤاً مَّنثُوراً

And round about them will (serve) youths of perpetual (freshness): If thou seest them, thou wouldst think them scattered Pearls.

Tafsir Ibn Kathir
The Boys and Servants
Allah says,
وَيَطُوفُ عَلَيْهِمْ وِلْدَانٌ مُّخَلَّدُونَ إِذَا رَأَيْتَهُمْ حَسِبْتَهُمْ لُؤْلُؤًا مَّنثُورًا ﴿١٩﴾
And round about them will (serve) boys of everlasting youth. If you see them, you would think them scattered pearls.
meaning, young boys from the boys of Paradise will go around serving the people of Paradise.
مُّخَلَّدُونَ everlasting youth.
meaning, in one state forever which they will be never changing from, they will not increase in age. Those who have described them as wearing earings in their ears have only interpreted the meaning in such a way because a child is befitting of this description and not an adult man.
Concerning Allah's statement,
إِذَا رَأَيْتَهُمْ حَسِبْتَهُمْ لُؤْلُؤًا مَّنثُورًا
If you see them, you would think them scattered pearls.
meaning, when you see them dispersing to fulfill the needs of their masters, their great number, their beautiful faces, handsome colors, fine clothing and ornaments, you would think that they were scattered pearls. There is no better quality than this, nor is there anything nicer to look at than scattered pearls in a beautiful place.
تفسير ابن كثير
أي يطوف على أهل الجنة للخدمة ولدان من ولدان الجنة " مخلدون " أي على حالة واحدة مخلدون عليها لا يتغيرون عنها لا تزيد أعمارهم عن تلك السن ومن فسرهم بأنهم مخرصون في آذانهم الأقرطة فإنما عبر عن المعنى بذلك لأن الصغير هو الذي يليق له ذلك دون الكبير " إذا رأيتهم حسبتهم لؤلؤا منثورا " أي إذا رأيتهم في انتشارهم في قضاء حوائج السادة وكثرتهم وصباحة وجوههم وحسن ألوانهم وثيابهم وحليهم حسبتهم لؤلؤا منثورا ولا يكون في التشبيه أحسن من هذا ولا في المنظر أحسن من اللؤلؤ المنثور على المكان الحسن قال قتاده عن أبي أيوب عن عبد الله بن عمرو : ما من أهل الجنة من أحد إلا يسعى عليه ألف خادم كل خادم على عمل ما عليه صاحبه .
تفسير الجلالين
"ويطوف عليهم ولدان مخلدون" بصفة الولدان لا يشيبون "إذا رأيتهم حسبتهم" لحسنهم وانتشارهم في الخدمة "لؤلؤا منثورا" من سلكه أو من صدفه وهو أحسن منه في غير ذلك
تفسير القرطبي
بين من الذي يطوف عليهم بالآنية ; أي ويخدمهم ولدان مخلدون , فإنهم أخف في الخدمة . ثم قال : " مخلدون " أي باقون على ما هم عليه من الشباب والغضاضة والحسن , لا يهرمون ولا يتغيرون , ويكونون على سن واحدة على مر الأزمنة . وقيل : مخلدون لا يموتون . وقيل : مسورون مقرطون ; أي محلون والتخليد التحلية . وقد تقدم هذا .
إعراب — grammatical analysis
«وَيَطُوفُ» مضارع مرفوع و«عَلَيْهِمْ» متعلقان بالفعل و«وِلْدانٌ» فاعل و«مُخَلَّدُونَ» صفة ولدان والجملة معطوفة على ما قبلها. و«إِذا» ظرفية شرطية غير جازمة و«رَأَيْتَهُمْ» ماض وفاعله ومفعوله والجملة في محل جر بالإضافة و«حَسِبْتَهُمْ» ماض وفاعله ومفعوله الأول و«لُؤْلُؤاً» مفعول به ثان و«مَنْثُوراً» صفة لؤلؤا والجملة جواب الشرط لا محل لها.
