وَنَبِّئْهُمْ أَنَّ الْمَاء قِسْمَةٌ بَيْنَهُمْ كُلُّ شِرْبٍ مُّحْتَضَرٌ
Wanabbihum anna almaa qismatun baynahum kullu shirbin muhtadarun
Yusuf Ali
And tell them that the water is to be divided between them: Each one's right to drink being brought forward (by suitable turns).

Tafsir Ibn Kathir
And inform them that the water is to be shared between them,
one day for her to drink and one day for them to drink,
قَالَ هَـذِهِ نَاقَةٌ لَّهَا شِرْبٌ وَلَكُمْ شِرْبُ يَوْمٍ مَّعْلُومٍ
He said: "Here is a she-camel: it has a right to drink, and you have a right to drink (water) on a day, known.'' (26:155)
Allah's statement,
... كُلُّ شِرْبٍ مُّحْتَضَرٌ ﴿٢٨﴾
each one's right to drink being established.
Mujahid said,
"When she did not drink, they would drink the water, and when she drank, they would drink her milk.''
تفسير ابن كثير
أي يوم لهم ويوم للناقة كقوله " قال هذه ناقة لها شرب ولكم شرب يوم معلوم " وقوله تعالى" كل شرب محتضر " قال مجاهد إذا غابت حضروا الماء وإذا جاءت حضروا اللبن .
تفسير الجلالين
"ونبئهم أن الماء قسمة" مقسوم "بينهم" وبين الناقة يوم لهم ويوم لها "كل شرب" نصيب من الماء "محتضر" يحضره القوم يومهم والناقة يومها فتمادوا على ذلك ثم ملوه فهموا بقتل الناقة
