Tafsir Ibn Kathir
Allah tells them how much they wasted in their short lives in this world by failing to obey Allah and worship Him Alone. If they had been patient during their short stay in this world, they would have attained victory just like His pious close friends.
قَالَ كَمْ لَبِثْتُمْ فِي الْأَرْضِ عَدَدَ سِنِينَ ﴿١١٢﴾
He will say: "What number of years did you stay on earth!''
means, how long did you stay in this world.
تفسير ابن كثير
يقول تعالى منبها لهم على ما أضاعوه في عمرهم القصير في الدنيا من طاعة الله تعالى وعبادته وحده ولو صبروا في مدة الدنيا القصيرة لفازوا كما فاز أولياؤه المتقون " قال كم لبثتم في الأرض عدد سنين " أي كم كانت إقامتكم في الدنيا .
تفسير الجلالين
"قال" تعالى لهم بلسان مالك وفي قراءة قل "كم لبثتم في الأرض" في الدنيا وفي قبوركم "عدد سنين" تمييز
تفسير القرطبي
قيل : يعني في القبور . وقيل : هو سؤال لهم عن مدة حياتهم في الدنيا . وهذا السؤال للمشركين في عرصات القيامة أو في النار .

«قالَ» ماض وفاعله والجملة مستأنفة «كَمْ» اسم استفهام ظرف زمان متعلق بلبثتم «لَبِثْتُمْ» ماض وفاعله والجملة مقول القول «فِي الْأَرْضِ» متعلقان بلبثتم «عَدَدَ» تمييز «سِنِينَ» مضاف اليه مجرور بالياء لأنه ملحق بجمع المذكر السالم
