Qur'an 15:73

Then the (Awful) Cry overtook them at the sunrise.

So the rumbling overtook them (while) entering upon the time of sunrise;

Sa´an nan tsãwa ta kãma su, sunã mãsu shiga lõkacin hũdõwar rãnã.

Previous 67-72 فَأَخَذَتْهُمُ الصَّيْحَةُ مُشْرِقِينَ 15:73 So the Sayhah overtook them at the time of sunrise. فَجَعَلْنَا عَـلِيَهَا سَافِلَهَا وَأَمْطَرْنَا عَلَيْهِمْ حِجَارَةً مِّن سِجِّيلٍ 15:74 And We turned them upside down and rained stones of baked clay upon them. إِنَّ فِى ذَلِكَ لآيَـتٍ لِلْمُتَوَسِّمِينَ 15:75 Surely, in this are signs for those who see. وَإِنَّهَا لَبِسَبِيلٍ مُّقِيمٍ 15:76 And verily, they were right on the highroad. إِنَّ فِى ذَلِكَ لآيَةً لِلْمُؤْمِنِينَ 15:77 Surely, there is indeed a sign in that for the believers. Next 78-79 The Destruction of the People of Lut Allah said; فَأَخَذَتْهُمُ الصَّيْحَةُ مُشْرِقِينَ ﴿٧٣﴾ So the Sayhah overtook them at the time of sunrise. This is the piercing sound that came to them when the sun rose, which was accompanied by the city being flipped upside down, and stones of baked clay (As-Sijjil) raining down upon them.
