Qaloo bal jinaka bima kanoo feehi yamtaroona

They said: "Yea, we have come to thee to accomplish that of which they doubt.

Tafsir Ibn Kathir
قَالَ إِنَّكُمْ قَوْمٌ مُّنكَرُونَ ﴿٦٢﴾
قَالُواْ بَلْ جِئْنَاكَ بِمَا كَانُواْ فِيهِ يَمْتَرُونَ ﴿٦٣﴾
He said: "Verily, you are people unknown to me.''
They said: "Nay, we have come to you with that (torment) which they have been doubting.''
meaning that they were bringing the punishment and destruction that the people doubted they would ever suffer from.
تفسير ابن كثير
" قالوا بل جئناك بما كانوا فيه يمترون " يعنون بعذابهم وهلاكهم ودمارهم الذي كانوا يشكون في وقوعه بهم وحلوله بساحتهم .
تفسير الجلالين
"قالوا بل جئناك بما كانوا" أي قومك "فيه يمترون" يشكون وهو العذاب
تفسير القرطبي
أي يشكون أنه نازل بهم , وهو العذاب .
إعراب — grammatical analysis
