إِنَّ شَرَّ الدَّوَابِّ عِندَ اللّهِ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ فَهُمْ لاَ يُؤْمِنُونَ

Tafsir Ibn Kathir
Striking Hard against Those Who disbelieve and break the Covenants
Allah says;
إِنَّ شَرَّ الدَّوَابِّ عِندَ اللّهِ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ فَهُمْ لاَ يُؤْمِنُونَ ﴿٥٥﴾
الَّذِينَ عَاهَدتَّ مِنْهُمْ ثُمَّ يَنقُضُونَ عَهْدَهُمْ فِي كُلِّ مَرَّةٍ وَهُمْ لاَ يَتَّقُونَ ﴿٥٦﴾
Verily, the worst of living creatures before Allah are those who disbelieve, -- so they shall not believe.
They are those with whom you made a covenant, but they break their covenant every time and they do not have Taqwa.
Allah states here that the worst moving creatures on the face of the earth are those who disbelieve, who do not embrace the faith, and break promises whenever they make a covenant, even when they vow to keep them,
... وَهُمْ لاَ يَتَّقُونَ
and they do not have Taqwa.
meaning they do not fear Allah regarding any of the sins they commit.
تفسير ابن كثير
أخبر تعالى أن شر ما دب على وجه الأرض هم الذين كفروا فهم لا يؤمنون .
تفسير الجلالين
ونزل في قريظة "إن شر الدواب عند الله الذين كفروا فهم لا يؤمنون"
تفسير القرطبي
أي من يدب على وجه الأرض في علم الله وحكمه .
إعراب — grammatical analysis
«إِنَّ شَرَّ» إن واسمها.
«الدَّوَابِّ» مضاف إليه.
«عِنْدَ» ظرف مكان متعلق باسم التفضيل شر.
«اللَّهِ» لفظ الجلالة مضاف إليه.
«الَّذِينَ» اسم موصول مبني على الفتح في محل رفع خبر.
«كَفَرُوا» فعل ماض مبني على الضم والواو فاعل ، والجملة صلة الموصول.
«فَهُمْ» ضمير رفع منفصل مبتدأ ، والفاء حرف عطف.
«لا يُؤْمِنُونَ» مضارع مرفوع بثبوت النون ، والواو فاعل ، والجملة في محل رفع خبر المبتدأ ، والجملة الاسمية تعليلية لا محل لها.
