الَّذِينَ يَصُدُّونَ عَن سَبِيلِ اللّهِ وَيَبْغُونَهَا عِوَجاً وَهُم بِالآخِرَةِ كَافِرُونَ

Tafsir Ibn Kathir
الَّذِينَ يَصُدُّونَ عَن سَبِيلِ اللّهِ وَيَبْغُونَهَا عِوَجًا ...
Those who hindered (men) from the path of Allah, and would seek to make it crooked,
meaning, they hindered the people from following Allah's path, His Law, and what the Prophets brought. They sought to make Allah's path appear crooked and winding, so that no one would follow it.
Allah said,
... وَهُم بِالآخِرَةِ كَافِرُونَ ﴿٤٥﴾
and they were disbelievers in the Hereafter.
They disbelieved in the Meeting with Allah in the Hereafter, They used to deny this will ever occur, not accepting it nor believing in it. This is why they used to discount the seriousness of the evil deeds and statements that they committed, because they did not fear any reckoning or punishment. Therefore, they were and are indeed the worst people in statement and action.
تفسير ابن كثير
وصفهم بقوله " الذين يصدون عن سبيل الله ويبغونها عوجا " أي يصدون الناس عن اتباع سبيل الله وشرعه وما جاءت به الأنبياء ويبغون أن يكون السبيل معوجة غير مستقيمة حتى لا يتبعها أحد " وهم بالآخرة كافرون " أي وهم بلقاء الله في الدار الآخرة كافرون أي جاحدون مكذبون بذلك لا يصدقونه ولا يؤمنون به فلهذا لا يبالون بما يأتون من منكر من القول والعمل لأنهم لا يخافون حسابا عليه ولا عقابا فهم شر الناس أقوالا وأعمالا .
تفسير الجلالين
"الذين يصدون" الناس "عن سبيل الله" دينه "ويبغونها" أي يطلبون السبيل "عوجا" معوجة
تفسير القرطبي
في موضع خفض ل " ظالمين " على النعت . ويجوز الرفع والنصب على إضمار هم أو أعني . أي الذين كانوا يصدون في الدنيا الناس عن الإسلام . فهو من الصد الذي هو المنع . أو يصدون بأنفسهم عن سبيل الله أي يعرضون . وهذا من الصدود .
إعراب — grammatical analysis
«الَّذِينَ» اسم موصول مبني على الفتح في محل جر صفة للظالمين.
«عَنْ سَبِيلِ» متعلقان بالفعل يصد.
«اللَّهِ» لفظ الجلالة مضاف إليه وجملة «يَصُدُّونَ» صلة الموصول لا محل لها.
«وَيَبْغُونَها» مضارع مرفوع بثبوت النون ، والواو فاعله وها مفعوله.
«عِوَجاً» حال منصوبة والجملة معطوفة.
«وَهُمْ» ضمير رفع منفصل في محل رفع مبتدأ ، والواو حالية.
«بِالْآخِرَةِ» متعلقان بالخبر بعدهما والجملة في محل نصب حال.
«كافِرُونَ» خبر.
