قَالَ أَنظِرْنِي إِلَى يَوْمِ يُبْعَثُونَ
Qala anthirnee ila yawmi yubAAathoona

He said: "Give me respite till the day they are raised up."

Tafsir Ibn Kathir
قَالَ فَأَنظِرْنِي إِلَى يَوْمِ يُبْعَثُونَ ﴿١٤﴾
قَالَ إِنَّكَ مِنَ المُنظَرِينَ ﴿١٥﴾
(Iblis) said: "Allow me respite till the Day they are raised up (the Day of Resurrection).''
(Allah) said: "You are of those respited.''
It is like His statement;
قَالَ رَبِّ فَأَنظِرْنِى إِلَى يَوْمِ يُبْعَثُونَ
قَالَ فَإِنَّكَ مِنَ الْمُنظَرِينَ
Then allow me respite till the Day they are raised up. (Allah) said: "Then you are of those respited.'' (15: 36-37)
Allah gave Shaytan what he asked for out of His wisdom, being His decision and decree, that is never prevented or resisted. Surely, none can avert His decision, and He is swift in reckoning.
تفسير ابن كثير
قال " أنظرني إلى يوم يبعثون قال إنك من المنظرين " أجابه تعالى إلى ما سأل لما له في ذلك من الحكمة والإرادة والمشيئة التي لا تخالف ولا تمانع ولا معقب لحكمه" وهو سريع الحساب " .
تفسير الجلالين
"قال أنظرني" أخرني "إلى يوم يبعثون" أي الناس
تفسير القرطبي
سأل النظرة والإمهال إلى يوم البعث والحساب . طلب ألا يموت لأن يوم البعث لا موت بعده ;
إعراب — grammatical analysis
«قالَ» الجملة مستأنفة.
«أَنْظِرْنِي إِلى يَوْمِ» فعل أمر للدعاء تعلق به الجار والمجرور ، الفاعل أنت والنون للوقاية والياء مفعول به.
«يُبْعَثُونَ» مضارع مرفوع بثبوت النون مبني للمجهول والواو نائب فاعل ، والجملة في محل جر بالإضافة وجملة أنظرني مقول القول.
