وَمَا تَأْتِيهِم مِّنْ آيَةٍ مِّنْ آيَاتِ رَبِّهِمْ إِلاَّ كَانُواْ عَنْهَا مُعْرِضِينَ

Tafsir Ibn Kathir
Threatening the Idolators for their Stubbornness
Allah says;
وَمَا تَأْتِيهِم مِّنْ آيَةٍ مِّنْ آيَاتِ رَبِّهِمْ إِلاَّ كَانُواْ عَنْهَا مُعْرِضِينَ ﴿٤﴾
And never an Ayah comes to them from the Ayat of their Lord, but that they have been turning away from it.
Allah states that the rebellious, stubborn polytheists will turn away from every Ayah, meaning, sign, miracle and proof that is evidence of Allah's Uniqueness and the truth of His honorable Messengers. They will not contemplate about these Ayat or care about them.
تفسير ابن كثير
يقول تعالى مخبرا عن المشركين المكذبين المعاندين أنهم كلما أتتهم آية أي دلالة ومعجزة وحجة من الدلالات على وحدانية الله وصدق رسله الكرام فإنهم يعرضون عنها فلا ينظرون إليها ولا يبالون بها .
تفسير الجلالين
"وما تأتيهم" أي أهل مكة "من" صلة "آية من آيات ربهم" من القرآن
تفسير القرطبي
أي علامة كانشقاق القمر ونحوها . و " من " لاستغراق الجنس ; تقول : ما في الدار من أحد .
إعراب — grammatical analysis
«وَما تَأْتِيهِمْ» فعل مضارع مرفوع بالضمة المقدرة على الياء للثقل. والهاء ضمير متصل في محل نصب مفعول به. وما نافية.
«مِنْ آيَةٍ» من حرف جر زائد. آية اسم مجرور لفظا مرفوع محلا على أنه فاعل.
«مِنْ آياتِ» متعلقان بمحذوف صفة آية.
«رَبِّهِمْ» مضاف إليه مجرور ، والهاء في محل جر بالإضافة والجملة الفعلية تأتيهم مستأنفة بعد الواو. وجملة «كانُوا عَنْها مُعْرِضِينَ» في محل نصب حال.
