وَإِذَا قِيلَ لَهُمْ تَعَالَوْاْ إِلَى مَا أَنزَلَ اللّهُ وَإِلَى الرَّسُولِ قَالُواْ حَسْبُنَا مَا وَجَدْنَا عَلَيْهِ آبَاءنَا أَوَلَوْ كَانَ آبَاؤُهُمْ لاَ يَعْلَمُونَ شَيْئاً وَلاَ يَهْتَدُونَ

When it is said to them: "Come to what Allah hath revealed; come to the Messenger": They say: "Enough for us are the ways we found our fathers following." what! even though their fathers were void of knowledge and guidance?

Tafsir Ibn Kathir
وَإِذَا قِيلَ لَهُمْ تَعَالَوْاْ إِلَى مَا أَنزَلَ اللّهُ وَإِلَى الرَّسُولِ قَالُواْ حَسْبُنَا مَا وَجَدْنَا عَلَيْهِ آبَاءنَا ...
And when it is said to them: "Come to what Allah has revealed and to the Messenger.'' They say: "Enough for us is that which we found our fathers following,''
meaning, if they are called to Allah's religion, Law and commandments and to avoiding what He prohibited, they say, `The ways and practices that we found our fathers and forefathers following are good enough for us. `
Allah said,
... أَوَلَوْ كَانَ آبَاؤُهُمْ لاَ يَعْلَمُونَ شَيْئًا وَلاَ يَهْتَدُونَ ﴿١٠٤﴾
even though their fathers had no knowledge whatsoever and no guidance.
That is, even though their fathers did not understand or recognize the truth or find its way. Therefore, who would follow their forefathers, except those who are even more ignorant and misguided than they were
تفسير ابن كثير
" وإذا قيل لهم تعالوا إلى ما أنزل الله وإلى الرسول قالوا حسبنا ما وجدنا عليه آباءنا " أي إذا دعوا إلى دين الله وشرعه وما أوجبه وترك ما حرمه قالوا يكفينا ما وجدنا عليه الآباء والأجداد من الطرائق والمسالك قال الله تعالى " أولو كان آباؤهم لا يعلمون شيئا " أي لا يفهمون حقا ولا يعرفونه ولا يهتدون إليه فكيف يتبعونهم والحالة هذه لا يتبعهم إلا من هو أجهل منهم وأضل سبيلا.
تفسير الجلالين
"وإذا قيل لهم تعالوا إلى ما أنزل الله وإلى الرسول" أي إلى حكمه من تحليل ما حرمتم "قالوا حسبنا" كافينا "ما وجدنا عليه آباءنا" من الدين والشريعة "أولو" حسبهم ذلك "كان آباؤهم لا يعلمون شيئا ولا يهتدون" إلى الحق والاستفهام للإنكار

الآية تقدم معناها والكلام عليها في " البقرة " فلا معنى لإعادتها .
إعراب — grammatical analysis
«وَإِذا قِيلَ لَهُمْ» فعل ماض مبني للمجهول تعلق به الجار والمجرور بعده. والجملة في محل جر بالإضافة بعد إذا الشرطية.
«تَعالَوْا إِلى ما أَنْزَلَ اللَّهُ» تعالوا فعل أمر مبني على حذف النون ، تعلق به الجار والمجرور.
«إِلى ما» والواو فاعله وجملة أنزل صلة الموصول ما لا محل لها ، وجملة تعالوا مقول القول.
«وَإِلَى الرَّسُولِ» عطفت على إلى ما أنزل.
«قالُوا» الجملة لا محل لها من الإعراب جواب الشرط إذا.
«حَسْبُنا ما وَجَدْنا عَلَيْهِ آباءَنا» حسبنا مبتدأ ، ونا في محل جر بالإضافة ، ما اسم موصول في محل رفع خبر. وجدنا فعل ماض تعلق به الجار والمجرور وفاعله ومفعوله والجملة الاسمية حسبنا ما وجدنا مقول القول مفعول به.
«أَوَلَوْ» الهمزة للاستفهام ، والواو حالية. لو حرف شرط غير جازم.
«كانَ آباؤُهُمْ لا يَعْلَمُونَ شَيْئاً» كان واسمها وجملة لا يعلمون خبرها والجملة حالية بعد واو الحال. وجملة «وَلا يَهْتَدُونَ» معطوفة.
