وَإِذَا قِيلَ لَهُمْ تَعَالَوْاْ إِلَى مَا أَنزَلَ اللّهُ وَإِلَى الرَّسُولِ رَأَيْتَ الْمُنَافِقِينَ يَصُدُّونَ عَنكَ صُدُوداً
Waitha qeela lahum taAAalaw ila ma anzala Allahu waila alrrasooli raayta almunafiqeena yasuddoona AAanka sudoodan

When it is said to them: "Come to what Allah hath revealed, and to the Messenger": Thou seest the Hypocrites avert their faces from thee in disgust.

Tafsir Ibn Kathir
Allah's statement,
وَإِذَا قِيلَ لَهُمْ تَعَالَوْاْ إِلَى مَا أَنزَلَ اللّهُ وَإِلَى الرَّسُولِ رَأَيْتَ الْمُنَافِقِينَ يَصُدُّونَ عَنكَ صُدُودًا ﴿٦١﴾
And when it is said to them: "Come to what Allah has sent down and to the Messenger,'' you see the hypocrites turn away from you with aversion.
يَصُدُّونَ عَنكَ صُدُودًا (turn away from you with aversion) means,
they turn away from you in arrogance, just as Allah described the polytheists,
وَإِذَا قِيلَ لَهُمُ اتَّبِعُواْ مَآ أَنزَلَ اللَّهُ قَالُواْ بَلْ نَتَّبِعُ مَا وَجَدْنَا عَلَيْهِ ءَابَآءَنَا
When it is said to them: "Follow what Allah has sent down.'' They say: "Nay! We shall follow what we found our fathers following.'' (31:21)
This is different from the conduct of the faithful believers, whom Allah describes as,
إِنَّمَا كَانَ قَوْلَ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ إِذَا دُعُواْ إِلَى اللَّهِ وَرَسُولِهِ لِيَحْكُمَ بَيْنَهُمْ أَن يَقُولُواْ سَمِعْنَا وَأَطَعْنَا
The only saying of the faithful believers, when they are called to Allah and His Messenger, to judge between them, is that they say: "We hear and we obey.'' (24:51)
تفسير ابن كثير
وقوله " ويصدون عنك صدودا " أي يعرضون عنك إعراضا كالمستكبرين عن ذلك كما قال تعالى عن المشركين " وإذا قيل لهم اتبعوا ما أنزل الله قالوا بل نتبع ما وجدنا عليه آباءنا" وهؤلاء بخلاف المؤمنين الذين قال الله فيهم " إنما كان قول المؤمنين إذا دعوا إلى الله ورسوله ليحكم بينهم أن يقولوا سمعنا وأطعنا " الآية .

"وإذا قيل لهم تعالوا إلى ما أنزل الله" في القرآن من الحكم "وإلى الرسول" ليحكم بينكم "رأيت المنافقين يصدون" يعرضون "عنك" إلى غيرك

" صدودا " اسم للمصدر عند الخليل , والمصدر الصد . والكوفيون يقولون : هما مصدران .
إعراب — grammatical analysis
«وَإِذا قِيلَ لَهُمْ» الواو عاطفة إذا ظرف للمستقبل لهم متعلقان بالفعل المبني للمجهول قيل.
«تَعالَوْا إِلى ما أَنْزَلَ اللَّهُ» فعل أمر مبني على حذف النون والواو فاعل والجار والمجرور متعلقان بتعالوا وجملة أنزل اللّه صلة الموصول.
«وَإِلَى الرَّسُولِ» عطف على ما أنزل وجملة تعالوا مقول القول.
«رَأَيْتَ الْمُنافِقِينَ» فعل ماض وفاعل ومفعول به منصوب بالياء والجملة جواب شرط غير جازم لا محل لها.
«يَصُدُّونَ عَنْكَ صُدُوداً» فعل مضارع تعلق به الجار والمجرور والواو فاعله ، صدودا مفعول مطلق والجملة حالية أو مفعول به ثان إذا كانت رأيت قلبية وليست بصرية.
