ENTafsir Ibn Kathir
then explains His statement, by saying,
فِي سَمُومٍ ...
in Samum, means, a fierce hot wind,
... وَحَمِيمٍ ﴿٤٢﴾
and Hamim. i.e., boiling water,

ثم فسر ذلك فقال " في سموم" وهو الهواء الحار " وحميم " وهو الماء الحار .
