وَالْأَرْضَ فَرَشْنَاهَا فَنِعْمَ الْمَاهِدُونَ
Waalarda farashnaha faniAAma almahidoona

And We have spread out the (spacious) earth: How excellently We do spread out!

Tafsir Ibn Kathir
وَالْأَرْضَ فَرَشْنَاهَا ...
And We have made the earth a Firash,
meaning, `We have made it a resting place for the created,'
... فَنِعْمَ الْمَاهِدُونَ ﴿٤٨﴾
how excellent a spreader (thereof) are We!,
meaning, `We spread it for its inhabitants,'
تفسير ابن كثير
" والأرض فرشناها" أي جعلناها فراشا للمخلوقات " فنعم الماهدون" أي وجعلناها مهدا لأهلها .

"والأرض فرشناها" مهدناها "فنعم الماهدون" نحن

أي بسطناها كالفراش على وجه الماء ومددناها .
