إِنَّ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ وَصَدُّواْ عَن سَبِيلِ اللّهِ قَدْ ضَلُّواْ ضَلاَلاً بَعِيداً
Inna allatheena kafaroo wasaddoo AAan sabeeli Allahi qad dalloo dalalan baAAeedan

Those who reject Faith and keep off (men) from the way of Allah, have verily strayed far, far away from the Path.

Tafsir Ibn Kathir
Allah said,
إِنَّ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ وَصَدُّواْ عَن سَبِيلِ اللّهِ قَدْ ضَلُّواْ ضَلاَلاً بَعِيدًا ﴿١٦٧﴾
Verily, those who disbelieve and prevent (others) from the path of Allah, they have certainly strayed far away.
For they are disbelievers themselves and do not follow the truth. They strive hard to prevent people from following and embracing Allah's path. Therefore, they have defied the truth, deviated, and strayed far away from it.
تفسير ابن كثير
وقوله أي كفروا في أنفسهما فلم يتبعوا الحق وسعوا في صد الناس عن اتباعه والافتداء به قد خرجوا عن الحق وضلوا عنه وبعدوا منه بعدا عظيما شاسعا ثم أخبر تعالى عن حكمه في الكافرين بآياته وكتابه ورسوله الظالمين لأنفسهم بذلك وبالصد عن سبيله وارتكاب مآثمه وانتهاك محارمه بأنه لا يغفر لهم .
تفسير الجلالين
"إن الذين كفروا" بالله "وصدوا" الناس "عن سبيل الله" دين الإسلام بكتمهم نعت محمد صلى الله عليه وسلم وهم اليهود "قد ضلوا ضلالا بعيدا" عن الحق
تفسير القرطبي
يعني اليهود أي ظلموا .
إعراب — grammatical analysis
«إِنَّ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا» إن واسم الموصول اسمها والجملة الفعلية صلة الموصول وجملة «وَصَدُّوا عَنْ سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ» معطوفة عليها.
«قَدْ ضَلُّوا ضَلالًا بَعِيداً» ضلوا فعل ماض وفاعله ومفعول مطلق بعيدا صفة والجملة في محل رفع خبر إن.
