فَالْيَوْمَ لَا يَمْلِكُ بَعْضُكُمْ لِبَعْضٍ نَّفْعاً وَلَا ضَرّاً وَنَقُولُ لِلَّذِينَ ظَلَمُوا ذُوقُوا عَذَابَ النَّارِ الَّتِي كُنتُم بِهَا تُكَذِّبُونَ
Faalyawma la yamliku baAAdukum libaAAdin nafAAan wala darran wanaqoolu lillatheena thalamoo thooqoo AAathaba alnnari allatee kuntum biha tukaththiboona

So on that Day no power shall they have over each other, for profit or harm: and We shall say to the wrong-doers, "Taste ye the Penalty of the Fire,- the which ye were wont to deny!"

Tafsir Ibn Kathir
Allah says:
فَالْيَوْمَ لَا يَمْلِكُ بَعْضُكُمْ لِبَعْضٍ نَّفْعًا وَلَا ضَرًّا ...
So Today, none of you can profit or harm one another.
means, `none of those idols and rivals whom you hoped would benefit you, will be of any avail to you, those whom you worshipped in the hope that they would help you at times of stress and calamity. Today they will have no power either to benefit you or to harm you.'
... وَنَقُولُ لِلَّذِينَ ظَلَمُوا ...
And We shall say to those who did wrong: -- meaning the idolators --
... ذُوقُوا عَذَابَ النَّارِ الَّتِي كُنتُم بِهَا تُكَذِّبُونَ ﴿٤٢﴾
"Taste the torment of the Fire which you used to deny.''
meaning, this will be said to them by way of rebuke.
تفسير ابن كثير
" فاليوم لا يملك بعضكم لبعض نفعا ولا ضرا " أي لا يقع لكم نفع ممن كنتم ترجون نفعه اليوم من الأنداد والأوثان التي ادخرتم عبادتها لشدائدكم وكربكم اليوم لا يملكون لكم نفعا ولا ضرا " ونقول للذين ظلموا " وهم المشركون" ذوقوا عذاب النار التي كنتم بها تكذبون " أي يقال لهم ذلك تقريعا وتوبيخا .
تفسير الجلالين
"فاليوم لا يملك بعضكم لبعض" أي بعض المعبودين لبعض العابدين "نفعا" شفاعة "ولا ضرا" تعذيبا "ونقول للذين ظلموا" كفروا
