وَيَوْمَ يُنَادِيهِمْ فَيَقُولُ مَاذَا أَجَبْتُمُ الْمُرْسَلِينَ
Wayawma yunadeehim fayaqoolu matha ajabtumu almursaleena

That Day (Allah) will call to them, and say: "What was the answer ye gave to the messengers?"

Tafsir Ibn Kathir
Their attitude towards the Messengers on the Day of Resurrection
Allah says:
وَيَوْمَ يُنَادِيهِمْ فَيَقُولُ مَاذَا أَجَبْتُمُ الْمُرْسَلِينَ ﴿٦٥﴾
And the Day He will call to them, and say: "What answer gave you to the Messengers!''
The first call will be concerning the issue of Tawhid, which includes evidences of the Prophethood --
`What was your response to the Messengers who were sent to you! How did you deal with them!'
This is like the questions which will be asked of a person in his grave: `who is your Lord who is your Prophet and what is your religion!'
The believer will testify that there is no God except Allah and that Muhammad is His servant and Messenger, but the disbelievers will say, "Oh, oh, I do not know.''
So he will have no answer on the Day of Resurrection except to remain silent, because whoever is blind in this world (i.e., does not see Allah's signs and believes not in Him), will be blind in the Hereafter, and more astray.
تفسير ابن كثير
وقوله : " ويوم يناديهم فيقول ماذا أجبتم المرسلين" النداء الأول عن سؤال التوحيد وهذا فيه إثبات النبوات ماذا كان جوابكم للمرسلين إليكم وكيف كان حالكم معهم وهذا كما يسأل العبد في قبره. من ربك ومن نبيك وما دينك ؟ فأما المؤمن فيشهد أنه لا إله إلا الله وأن محمدا عبده ورسوله وأما الكافر فيقول هاه هاه لا أدري ولهذا لا جواب له يوم القيامة غير السكون لأن من كان في هذه أعمى فهو في الآخرة أعمى وأضل سبيلا .

تفسير القرطبي
أي يقول الله لهم ما كان جوابكم لمن أرسل إليكم من النبيين لما بلغوكم رسالاتي
إعراب — grammatical analysis
«وَيَوْمَ» الواو حرف عطف يوم مفعول به لفعل محذوف اذكر «يُنادِيهِمْ» مضارع ومفعوله والفاعل
مستتر والجملة في محل جر بالإضافة. «فَيَقُولُ» الفاء حرف عطف ومضارع فاعله مستتر والجملة معطوفة على ما قبلها «ما ذا» اسم استفهام في محل نصب مفعول مطلق «أَجَبْتُمُ» ماض وفاعله «الْمُرْسَلِينَ» مفعول به والجملة مقول القول
