إِنَّ فِي ذَلِكَ لَآيَةً وَمَا كَانَ أَكْثَرُهُم مُّؤْمِنِينَ

Tafsir Ibn Kathir
Then He says:
إِنَّ فِي ذَلِكَ لَآيَةً وَمَا كَانَ أَكْثَرُهُم مُّؤْمِنِينَ ﴿١٠٣﴾
Verily, in this is indeed a sign, yet most of them are not believers.
meaning, in the dispute of Ibrahim with his people and his proof of Tawhid there is a sign, i.e., clear evidence that there is no God but Allah.
... وَمَا كَانَ أَكْثَرُهُم مُّؤْمِنِينَ
تفسير ابن كثير
ثم قال تعالى " إن في ذلك لآية وما كان أكثرهم مؤمنين" أي أن في محاجة إبراهيم لقومه وإقامة الحجج عليهم في التوحيد لآية أي لدلالة واضحة جلية على أن لا إله إلا الله " وما كان أكثرهم مؤمنين وإن ربك لهو العزيز الرحيم " .

«إِنَّ فِي ذلِكَ لَآيَةً» إن حرف مشبه بالفعل والجار والمجرور متعلقان بخبر مقدم واللام المزحلقة وآية اسمها «وَما» الواو عاطفة وما نافية «كانَ أَكْثَرُهُمْ مُؤْمِنِينَ» كان واسمها وخبرها والجملة معطوفة
