كَذَلِكَ وَقَدْ أَحَطْنَا بِمَا لَدَيْهِ خُبْراً
Kathalika waqad ahatna bima ladayhi khubran

(He left them) as they were: We completely understood what was before him.

Tafsir Ibn Kathir
كَذَلِكَ وَقَدْ أَحَطْنَا بِمَا لَدَيْهِ خُبْرًا ﴿٩١﴾
So (it was)!
And We knew all about him.
Mujahid and As-Suddi said,
"This means that Allah knew everything about him and his army, and nothing was hidden from Him, even though they came from so many different nations and lands. For,
لاَ يَخْفَى عَلَيْهِ شَىْءٌ فِي الاٌّرْضِ وَلاَ فِى السَّمَآءِ
Truly, nothing is hidden from Allah, in the earth or in the heaven. (3:5)''
تفسير ابن كثير
وقوله " كذلك وقد أحطنا بما لديه خبرا " قال مجاهد والسدي : علما أي نحن مطلعون على جميع أحواله وأحوال جيشه لا يخفى علينا منها شيء وإن تفرقت أممهم وتقطعت بهم الأرض فإنه تعالى " لا يخفى عليه شيء في الأرض ولا في السماء " .
تفسير الجلالين
"كذلك" أي الأمر كما قلنا "وقد أحطنا بما لديه" أي عند ذي القرنين من الآلات والجند وغيرهما "خبرا" علما
إعراب — grammatical analysis
«كَذلِكَ» جار ومجرور ، خبر لمبتدأ محذوف أي الأمر كذلك واللام للبعد والكاف للخطاب وذا اسم إشارة «وَقَدْ» الواو عاطفة قد حرف تحقيق «أَحَطْنا» ماض وفاعله «بِما» الباء حرف جر وما اسم موصول في محل جر بحرف الجر ومتعلقان
بأحطنا «لَدَيْهِ» ظرف مكان متعلق بمحذوف صلة والهاء مضاف إليه «خُبْراً» مفعول به
