وَنَبِّئْهُمْ عَن ضَيْفِ إِ بْراَهِيمَ

Tafsir Ibn Kathir
The Guests of Ibrahim and their Good News of a Son for Him
Allah says:
وَنَبِّئْهُمْ عَن ...
And tell them about,
Allah is saying: `Tell them, O Muhammad, about the story of,
... ضَيْفِ إِبْراَهِيمَ ﴿٥١﴾
إِذْ ....
the guests of Ibrahim. When,
... دَخَلُواْ عَلَيْهِ فَقَالُواْ سَلامًا قَالَ إِنَّا مِنكُمْ وَجِلُونَ ﴿٥٢﴾
they entered upon him, and said: "Salaman (peace!).''
He said: "Indeed we are frightened of you.''
meaning that they were scared. The reason for their fear has been mentioned previously, which is that they noticed that these guests did not eat of the food that was offered, which was a fattened calf.
تفسير ابن كثير
يقول تعالى وأخبرهم يا محمد عن قصة ضيف إبراهيم والضيف يطلق على الواحد والجمع كالزور والسفر .
تفسير الجلالين
"ونبئهم عن ضيف إبراهيم" وهم الملائكة اثنا عشر أو عشرة أو ثلاثة منهم جبريل
تفسير القرطبي
ضيف إبراهيم : الملائكة الذين بشروه بالولد وبهلاك قوم لوط . وقد تقدم ذكرهم . وكان إبراهيم عليه السلام يكنى أبا الضيفان , وكان لقصره أربعة أبواب لكيلا يفوته أحد . وسمي الضيف ضيفا لإضافته إليك ونزوله عليك . وقد مضى من حكم الضيف في " هود " ما يكفي والحمد لله .
إعراب — grammatical analysis
«وَنَبِّئْهُمْ» أمر فاعله مستتر والهاء مفعول به والجملة معطوفة.
«عَنْ ضَيْفِ» متعلقان بنبئهم.
«إِبْراهِيمَ» مضاف إليه مجرور بالفتحة لأنه ممنوع من الصرف.
