وَإِلَى الْجِبَالِ كَيْفَ نُصِبَتْ
Waila aljibali kayfa nusibat

Tafsir Ibn Kathir
Then Allah says,
وَإِلَى الْجِبَالِ كَيْفَ نُصِبَتْ ﴿١٩﴾
And at the mountains, how they are rooted?
meaning, how they have been erected. For indeed they are firmly affixed so that the earth does not sway with its dwellers. And He made them with the benefits and minerals they contain.
تفسير ابن كثير
أي جعلت منصوبة فإنها ثابتة راسية لئلا تميد الأرض بأهلها وجعل فيها ما جعل من المنافع والمعادن .
تفسير القرطبي
أي كيف نصبت على الأرض , بحيث لا تزول وذلك أن الأرض لما دحيت مادت , فأرساها بالجبال . كما قال : " وجعلنا في الأرض رواسي أن تميد بهم " [ الأنبياء : 31 ] .
