وَمِنْ آبَائِهِمْ وَذُرِّيَّاتِهِمْ وَإِخْوَانِهِمْ وَاجْتَبَيْنَاهُمْ وَهَدَيْنَاهُمْ إِلَى صِرَاطٍ مُّسْتَقِيمٍ
Wamin abaihim wathurriyyatihim waikhwanihim waijtabaynahum wahadaynahum ila siratin mustaqeemin

(To them) and to their fathers, and progeny and brethren: We chose them, and we guided them to a straight way.

Tafsir Ibn Kathir
Allah's statement,
وَمِنْ آبَائِهِمْ وَذُرِّيَّاتِهِمْ وَإِخْوَانِهِمْ ...
And also some of their fathers and their progeny and their brethren,
mentions that some of these Prophets' ascendants and descendants were also guided and chosen.
So Allah said,
... وَاجْتَبَيْنَاهُمْ وَهَدَيْنَاهُمْ إِلَى صِرَاطٍ مُّسْتَقِيمٍ ﴿٨٧﴾
We chose them, and We guided them to a straight path.
تفسير ابن كثير
وقوله " ومن آبائهم وذرياتهم وإخوانهم " ذكر أصولهم وفروعهم وذوي طبقتهم وأن الهداية والاجتباء شملهم كلهم ولهذا قال " واجتبيناهم وهديناهم إلى صراط مستقيم" .
تفسير الجلالين
"ومن آبائهم وذرياتهم وإخوانهم" عطف على كلا أو نوحا ومن للتبعيض لأن بعضهم لم يكن له ولد وبعضهم كان في ولده كافر "واجتبيناهم" اخترناهم
تفسير القرطبي
" من " للتبعيض ; أي هدينا بعض آبائهم وذرياتهم وإخوانهم .
إعراب — grammatical analysis
«وَمِنْ آبائِهِمْ» عطف على داود وسليمان أي : ونوحا هدينا من قبل ومن ذريته داوود وسليمان.
«وَمِنْ آبائِهِمْ وَذُرِّيَّاتِهِمْ وَإِخْوانِهِمْ» عطف على ما قبله.
«وَاجْتَبَيْناهُمْ» فعل ماض وفاعل ومفعول به ومثلها «وَهَدَيْناهُمْ».
«إِلى صِراطٍ» إلى صراط متعلقان بالفعل قبلهما «مُسْتَقِيمٍ» صفة ، والجملتان معطوفتان على جملة «وَكلًّا فَضَّلْنا».
