اللَّهُ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا هُوَ وَعَلَى اللَّهِ فَلْيَتَوَكَّلِ الْمُؤْمِنُونَ

Tafsir Ibn Kathir
Tawhid
Allah states that He is the One, Whom all creations need and seek, the One other than Whom there is no (true) God.
اللَّهُ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا هُوَ وَعَلَى اللَّهِ فَلْيَتَوَكَّلِ الْمُؤْمِنُونَ ﴿١٣﴾
Allah! La ilaha illa Huwa. And in Allah therefore let the believers put their trust.
So, He first informs about Tawhid and its meaning. The implied meaning is to single Him out for deification, being purely devoted to Him, and relying upon Him, as He said;
رَّبُّ الْمَشْرِقِ وَالْمَغْرِبِ لاَ إِلَـهَ إِلاَّ هُوَ فَاتَّخِذْهُ وَكِيلاً
The Lord of the east and the west; La ilaha illa Huwa. So take Him alone as Trustee. (73:9)
تفسير ابن كثير
ثم قال تعالى مخبرا أنه الأحد الصمد الذي لا إله غيره فقال تعالى " الله لا إله إلا هو وعلى الله فليتوكل المؤمنون " فالأول خبر عن التوحيد ومعناه معنى الطلب أي وحدوا الإلهية له وأخلصوها لديه وتوكلوا عليه كما قال تعالى " رب المشرق والمغرب لا إله إلا هو فاتخذه وكيلا " .
تفسير القرطبي
أي لا معبود سواه , ولا خالق غيره ; فعليه توكلوا .
إعراب — grammatical analysis
«اللَّهُ» لفظ الجلالة مبتدأ «لا» نافية للجنس «إِلهَ» اسمها وخبرها محذوف «إِلَّا» حرف حصر «هُوَ» بدل من الضمير المستتر في الخبر المحذوف وجملة لا إله .. خبر لفظ الجلالة. «وَ» الواو زائدة «عَلَى اللَّهِ» متعلقان بما بعدهما «فَلْيَتَوَكَّلِ» الفاء حرف استئناف ومضارع مجزوم بلام الأمر «الْمُؤْمِنُونَ» فاعل والجملة استئنافية لا محل لها.
