ENTafsir Ibn Kathir
... كَأَنَّهُمْ أَعْجَازُ نَخْلٍ مُّنقَعِرٍ
فَكَيْفَ كَانَ عَذَابِي وَنُذُرِ ﴿٢١﴾
وَلَقَدْ يَسَّرْنَا الْقُرْآنَ لِلذِّكْرِ فَهَلْ مِن مُّدَّكِرٍ ﴿٢٢﴾
as if they were uprooted stems of date palms.
Then, how was My torment and My warnings? And We have indeed made the Qur'an easy to understand and remember; then is there any that will remember!

أي فعاقبتهم فكيف كان عقابي لهم على كفرهم بي وتكذيبهم رسولي .

أي إنذاري ; قال الفراء : إنذاري ; قال مصدران . وقيل : " نذر " جمع نذير ونذير بمعنى الإنذار كنكير بمعنى الإنكار .
