Qur'an 45:16

And verily we gave the Children of Israel the Scripture and the Command and the Prophethood, and provided them with good things and favoured them above (all) peoples;

And certainly We gave the Book and the wisdom and the prophecy to the children of Israel, and We gave them of the goodly things, and We made them excel the nations.

Kuma lalle ne, haƙĩƙa, Mun bai(2) (wa Bãnĩ Isrã´ĩla Littãfi da hukunci da Annabci, Kuma Mun azurta su daga abũbuwa mãsudãɗi, Kuma Mun fĩfta su a kan mutãnen dũniya (a zãmaninsu).

Preference of Allah to the Children of Israel and their dispute thereafter Allah the Exalted mentions the favors He granted the Children of Israel, such as revealing the Divine Books to them, sending the Messengers to them and granting them kingship. Allah said, وَلَقَدْ آتَيْنَا بَنِي إِسْرَائِيلَ الْكِتَابَ وَالْحُكْمَ وَالنُّبُوَّةَ وَرَزَقْنَاهُم مِّنَ الطَّيِّبَاتِ ... And indeed We gave the Children of Israel the Scripture, and the understanding of the Scripture and its laws, and the Prophethood; and provided them with good things, such as foods and drinks, ... وَفَضَّلْنَاهُمْ عَلَى الْعَالَمِينَ ﴿١٦﴾ and preferred them above the nations.
