وَيُكَلِّمُ النَّاسَ فِي الْمَهْدِ وَكَهْلاً وَمِنَ الصَّالِحِينَ

Tafsir Ibn Kathir
`Isa Spoke When He was Still in the Cradle
Allah said,
وَيُكَلِّمُ النَّاسَ فِي الْمَهْدِ وَكَهْلاً ...
He will speak to the people, in the cradle and in manhood,
calling to the worship of Allah Alone without partners, while still in the cradle, as a miracle from Allah, and when he is a man, by Allah's revelation to him.
Muhammad bin Ishaq recorded that Abu Hurayrah said that the Messenger of Allah said,
مَا تَكَلَّمَ مَوْلُودٌ فِي صِغَرِهِ إِلَّا عِيسَى وَصَاحِبُ جُرَيْج
No infant spoke in the cradle except `Isa and the companion of Jurayj.
Ibn Abi Hatim recorded that Abu Hurayrah said that the Prophet said,
لَمْ يَتَكَلَّمْ فِي الْمَهْدِ إِلَّا ثَلَاثَةٌ: عِيسَى، وَصَبِيٌّ كَانَ فِي زَمَنِ جُرَيْجٍ، وَصَبِيٌّ آخَر
No infant spoke in the cradle except three, `Isa, the boy during the time of Jurayj, and another boy.
... وَمِنَ الصَّالِحِينَ ﴿٤٦﴾
And he will be one of the righteous.
in his statements and actions, for he will possess, pure knowledge and righteous works.
تفسير ابن كثير
قوله " ويكلم الناس في المهد وكهلا " أي يدعو إلى عبادة الله وحده لا شريك له في حال صغره معجزة وآية وفي حال كهولته حين يوحي الله إليه " ومن الصالحين " أي في قوله وعمله له علم صحيح وعمل صالح قال محمد بن إسحق : عن يزيد بن عبد الله بن قسيط عن محمد بن شرحبيل عن أبي هريرة قال : قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم " ما تكلم أحد في صغره إلا عيسى وصاحب جريج " وقال ابن أبي حاتم : حدثنا أبو الصقر يحيى بن محمد بن قزعة حدثنا الحسين يعني المروزي حدثنا جرير يعني ابن أبي حازم عن محمد عن أبي هريرة عن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم قال " لم يتكلم في المهد إلا ثلاث : عيسى وصبي كان في زمن جريج وصبي آخر ".
تفسير الجلالين
"ويكلم الناس في المهد" أي طفلا قبل وقت الكلام "وكهلا ومن الصالحين"

عطف على " وجيها " قاله الأخفش أيضا .
إعراب — grammatical analysis
«وَيُكَلِّمُ النَّاسَ فِي الْمَهْدِ» فعل مضارع ومفعول به والفاعل هو في المهد : متعلقان بمحذوف حال من الفاعل ويكلم الناس رضيعا في المهد.
«وَكَهْلًا» عطف على رضيعا المقدرة.
«وَمِنَ الصَّالِحِينَ» متعلقان بمحذوف حال أيضا.
