Tafsir Ibn Kathir
طَلْعُهَا كَأَنَّهُ رُؤُوسُ الشَّيَاطِينِ ﴿٦٥﴾
The shoots of its fruit stalks are like the heads of Shayatin.
this is a description of how ugly and repulsive it is. It is likened to رُؤُوسُ الشَّيَاطِين (the heads of Shayatin), even though they have never seen them, because it is a well-established idea in people's minds that devils are ugly in appearance.
تفسير ابن كثير
قوله تعالى " إنها شجرة تخرج في أصل الجحيم " أي أصل منبتها في قرار النار طلعها كأنه رءوس الشياطين تبشيع لها وتكريه لذكرها . قال وهب بن منبه شعور الشياطين قائمة إلى السماء وإنما شبهها برءوس الشياطين وإن لم تكن معروفة عند المخاطبين لأنه قد استقر في النفوس أن الشياطين قبيحة المنظر وقيل المراد بذلك ضرب من الحيات رءوسها بشعة المنظر وقيل جنس من النبات طلعه في غاية الفحاشة وفي هذين الاحتمالين نظر وقد ذكرهما ابن جرير والأول أقوى وأولى والله أعلم .

"طلعها" المشبه بطلع النخل "كأنه رءوس الشياطين" الحيات القبيحة المنظر
