وَجَاء أَهْلُ الْمَدِينَةِ يَسْتَبْشِرُونَ
Wajaa ahlu almadeenati yastabshiroona

Tafsir Ibn Kathir
The People of the City arrive upon the Angels, thinking that they are Men
Allah tells:
وَجَاء أَهْلُ الْمَدِينَةِ يَسْتَبْشِرُونَ ﴿٦٧﴾
And the inhabitants of the city came rejoicing.
Allah tells us about how Lut's people came to him when they found out about his handsome guests, and they came happily rejoicing about them.

يخبر تعالى عن مجيء قوم لوط لما علموا بأضيافه وصباحة وجوههم وأنهم جاءوا مستبشرين بهم فرحين .

"وجاء أهل المدينة" مدينة سدوم وهم قوم لوط لما أخبروا أن في بيت لوط مردا حسانا وهم الملائكة "يستبشرون" حال طمعا في فعل الفاحشة بهم
