وَإنَّا لَنَحْنُ نُحْيِي وَنُمِيتُ وَنَحْنُ الْوَارِثُونَ
Wainna lanahnu nuhyee wanumeetu wanahnu alwarithoona

And verily, it is We Who give life, and Who give death: it is We Who remain inheritors (after all else passes away).

Tafsir Ibn Kathir
The Power of Allah to initiate and renew Creation
Allah says:
وَإنَّا لَنَحْنُ نُحْيِي وَنُمِيتُ ...
And certainly We! We it is Who give life, and cause death,
Here Allah tells us of His power to initiate creation and renew it. He is the One Who brings life to creatures out of nothingness, then He causes them to die, then He will resurrect all of them on the Day when He will gather them together.
... وَنَحْنُ الْوَارِثُونَ ﴿٢٣﴾
and We are the Inheritors.
He also tells us that He will inherit the earth and everyone on it, and then it is to Him that they will return.
Then He tells us about His perfect knowledge of them, the first and the last of them.
تفسير ابن كثير
وقوله" وإنا لنحن نحيي ونميت " إخبار عن قدرته تعالى على بدء الخلق وإعادته وأنه هو الذي أحيا الخلق من العدم ثم يميتهم ثم يبعثهم كلهم ليوم الجمع وأخبر أنه تعالى يرث الأرض ومن عليها وإليه يرجعون .

"وإنا لنحن نحيي ونميت ونحن الوارثون" الباقون نرث جميع الخلق
تفسير القرطبي
أي الأرض ومن عليها , ولا يبقى شيء سوانا . نظيره " إنا نحن نرث الأرض ومن عليها وإلينا يرجعون " [ مريم : 40 ] . فملك كل شيء لله تعالى . ولكن ملك عباده أملاكا فإذا ماتوا انقطعت الدعاوى , فكان الله وارثا من هذا الوجه . وقيل : الإحياء في هذه الآية إحياء النطفة في الأرحام . فأما البعث فقد ذكره بعد هذا في قوله : " وإن ربك هو يحشرهم " .
إعراب — grammatical analysis
«وَإِنَّا» الواو استئنافية وإن واسمها.
«لَنَحْنُ» اللام المزحلقة ونحن مبتدأ.
«نُحْيِي» مضارع مرفوع بالضمة المقدرة على الياء للثقل وفاعله نحن والجملة خبر إن.
«وَنُمِيتُ» معطوف على نحيي.
«وَنَحْنُ الْوارِثُونَ» مبتدأ وخبر مرفوع بالواو لأنه جمع مذكر سالم والجملة معطوفة على ما قبلها.
