وَلَمَّا جَهَّزَهُم بِجَهَازِهِمْ قَالَ ائْتُونِي بِأَخٍ لَّكُم مِّنْ أَبِيكُمْ أَلاَ تَرَوْنَ أَنِّي أُوفِي الْكَيْلَ وَأَنَاْ خَيْرُ الْمُنزِلِينَ
Walamma jahhazahum bijahazihim qala itoonee biakhin lakum min abeekum ala tarawna annee oofee alkayla waana khayru almunzileena
Yusuf Ali
And when he had furnished them forth with provisions (suitable) for them, he said: "Bring unto me a brother ye have, of the same father as yourselves, (but a different mother): see ye not that I pay out full measure, and that I do provide the best hospitality?

Tafsir Ibn Kathir
وَلَمَّا جَهَّزَهُم بِجَهَازِهِمْ ...
And when he furnished them with their provisions,
according to their needs and gave them what they wanted to buy,
... قَالَ ائْتُونِي بِأَخٍ لَّكُم مِّنْ أَبِيكُمْ ...
he said: "Bring me a brother of yours from your father.
he said to them, "Bring me your brother from your father's side whom you mentioned, so that I know that you have told me the truth.''
He continued,
... أَلاَ تَرَوْنَ أَنِّي أُوفِي الْكَيْلَ وَأَنَاْ خَيْرُ الْمُنزِلِينَ ﴿٥٩﴾
See you not that I give full measure, and that I am the best of the hosts!
encouraging them to return to him.
He then threatened them,
تفسير ابن كثير
" ولما جهزهم بجهازهم " أي أوفى لهم كيلهم وحمل لهم أحمالهم قال ائتوني بأخيكم هذا الذي ذكرتم لأعلم صدقكم فيما ذكرتم " ألا ترون أني أوفي الكيل وأنا خير المنزلين " يرغبهم في الرجوع إليه ثم رهبهم .

"ولما جهزهم بجهازهم" وفى لهم كيلهم "قال ائتوني بأخ لكم من أبيكم" أي بنيامين لأعلم صدقكم فيما قلتم "ألا ترون أني أوفي الكيل" أتمه من غير بخس
تفسير القرطبي
يقال : جهزت القوم تجهيزا أي تكلفت لهم بجهازهم للسفر ; وجهاز العروس ما يحتاج إليه عند الإهداء إلى الزوج ; وجوز بعض الكوفيين الجهاز بكسر الجيم ; والجهاز في هذه الآية الطعام الذي امتاروه من عنده . قال السدي : وكان مع إخوة يوسف أحد عشر بعيرا , وهم عشرة , فقالوا ليوسف : إن لنا أخا تخلف عنا , وبعيره معنا ; فسألهم لم تخلف ؟ فقالوا : لحب أبيه إياه , وذكروا له أنه كان له أخ أكبر منه فخرج إلى البرية فهلك ; فقال لهم : أردت أن أرى أخاكم هذا الذي ذكرتم , لأعلم وجه محبة أبيكم إياه , وأعلم صدقكم ; ويروى أنهم تركوا عنده شمعون رهينة , حتى يأتوا بأخيه بنيامين .
