TEAR in the Qur'an — 3 ayat

وَجَاؤُواْ أَبَاهُمْ عِشَاء يَبْكُونَ

Then they came to their father in the early part of the night, weeping.

فَمَا بَكَتْ عَلَيْهِمُ السَّمَاء وَالْأَرْضُ وَمَا كَانُوا مُنظَرِينَ

And neither heaven nor earth shed a tear over them: nor were they given a respite (again).

وَأَنَّهُ هُوَ أَضْحَكَ وَأَبْكَى

That it is He Who granteth Laughter and Tears;
